John Deere Z380R Electric – ZTrak™ Zero-Turn Mower

The John Deere Z380R Electric ZTrak™ Mower is a next-generation electric zero-turn lawn mower designed to deliver powerful, quiet, and environmentally friendly performance for residential property owners. Assembled in Greeneville, Tennessee (USA), the Z380R combines John Deere’s proven cutting quality with advanced battery technology and zero operating emissions.

Powered by a 58-volt sealed lithium-ion battery system, the Z380R offers 6.4 kWh of nominal capacity (7.12 kWh maximum) and meets the IP66 rating, allowing the mower to be safely cleaned with a standard water hose. On a full charge, the mower can cut up to 3.5 acres, making it ideal for medium-to-large residential lawns.

The mower features a 54-inch Accel Deep™ mower deck, constructed from 10-gauge steel, engineered to provide superior airflow and consistent cutting performance, even in thick or tall grass. Cutting heights range from 1.25 to 4.5 inches, adjustable in precise ¼-inch increments, with a preset height system for added convenience. Side discharge comes standard, with an optional MulchControl™ attachment available for mulching applications.

The dual electric drive motors deliver smooth, responsive zero-turn maneuverability, with forward speeds up to 7 mphand reverse speeds up to 3.5 mph, controlled by intuitive twin steering levers. The electric drivetrain eliminates engine noise, vibration, fuel costs, and exhaust fumes, creating a cleaner and more comfortable mowing experience.

Operator comfort is enhanced with a 20-inch high-back seat with armrests, fore-aft adjustment, and dual-spring suspension. Additional convenience features include a covered storage compartment, cup holder, hour meter, rubber floor mat, and standard LED light kit for improved visibility.

The Z380R is built on a heavy-duty steel frame with sealed bearings and durable tires, ensuring long-term reliability. It also offers a 250-lb towing capacity, making it capable of pulling light lawn accessories.

Charging is simple and flexible thanks to the on-board 700-watt smart charger, which allows the mower to be plugged into any standard 120-volt household outlet using a grounded extension cord.
